DESCRIPTION:The world’s best climate stories \n\nKerim Nisancioglu\, Siri Veland\, Teresa Grøtan\, Kikki Flesche Kleiven \n\n\n\nDate: 10.02.2024 \nTime: 15:30 – 16:30 \nLocation: Litteraturhuset i Bergen\, Auditoriet\nØstre Skostredet 5 \, 5017 Bergen \nFREE ENTRY \n\n\nHunt for Literary Gold\nA climate competition that is a ground-breaking collaboration between LitFestBergen\, UiB and Rafto. \n \nBergen International Literary Festival\, Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research and The Rafto Foundation for Human Rights together have announced a competition for poetry and essays from youth from all over the world. Entries from the competition will be used for the research project «Climate Narratives». \n– The goal is to discover new literary gold\, says Teresa Grøtan\, director of the Bergen International Literary Festival. \nThe winners will be announced during LitFestBergen in February 2024\, and there will be several more events during the festival. A book of essays\, poetry and climate art will be released during the course of 2024. \nThe jury consists of prize-winning poets\, authors and researchers from Fiji\, Nigeria\, India\, USA and Norway. \nMore information here.
